20 May (Sun) @ 1045hrs... North Syracuse Bapist Church - 420 S Main St, N Syracuse

I am writing to ask you to again join me for the Special Sunday Morning Service to honor our law enforcement personnel. It will be held at the North Syracuse Baptist Church, 420 South Main Street, in honor of this month’s National Law Enforcement Week. This will be the 15th year there has been such a celebration at NSBC.

On Sunday, May 20th at 10:45 A.M., Pastor Miller has dedicated the morning service to us as a way of saying “Thank You” for the work that we do in protecting the lives and property of the citizens in our communities. The speaker this year is Randy Green, President of Mission Mobilization International. He began his police service as a deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, before moving to California, and serving with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. In 1995, Randy started a ministry to police & military officers around the World, training over 80,000 officers. Growing up as a “missionary kid” in Venezuela, he is fluent in Spanish, and has had many of his missions in South American countries. Randy is married to his wife Marlene, and they have 5 children. Some of you may know of Randy’s brother, Christian recording artist Steve Green. Special music will be provided by Deputy Sheriff Brian Thompson of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. During this Recognition Service the Church would like to recognize all of the law enforcement personnel present. It has been requested, if possible, to wear your uniform and bring along your families.

There will be a lunch provided for you and your family immediately following the Service. This is a great opportunity for the Community to meet those of us who presently work in or have retired from this great profession. It is still my hope that this Service will continue to be a tradition, similar to the annual recognition that is given to our veterans on Veteran’s Day. If you have questions, please contact me @ 435-3050. I hope to see you on this special Sunday morning! Sincerely, Warren R. Darby
