PURPOSE
The Syracuse Veterans Hospital has informed us that many sick and homeless veterans they care for need winter jackets and indoor power cords for their rooms. We are also aware many of our school age children in Syracuse lack proper winter clothing.
We will gather winter jackets including fleece garments and other cold weather coats, at our Post during the above times. But you can drop off at ANY American Legion Post within Onondaga County during the week before or on the 28th. The donations will be delivered to the Syracuse Veterans Hospital on Tuesday January 31st, 2023.
The American Legion is a non-profit, tax-deductible organization.
Refreshments will be available at out Post at no cost to our fellow citizens who donate
